Girls are just mean. Soccer is a cutthroat business on the girls side. I have a feeling many other soccer people are involved in this. The same person or persons that wished her ousted the last time she was suspended. It's called stirring the pot.

All this for calling the other team "cowards" after Brazil booed her the entire Olympics? Should we all be booing Florida now because they are trying desperately to stop Zika?

Oh please. She had been suspended multiple times in her seventeen year career. She's had more lives than any other US soccer player, male or female.

I couldn't care less about any of that. It's the drunken outbursts, assaults, husband driving a US van and getting a DUI that has given her the negative light.

then there's the DV charge, her husband's DUI in the team van, criticizing her own teammates in the past, making a fool out of herself with the Zika thing...shall we go on? USSF has said she was on probation for some time. It has nothing to do with sexism. It's about a player who can't stop acting like a fool AND is getting to the end of her career and didn't perform well. Tim Howard would be treated the same, but he's smarter than that, always is a class act, knows when his gig is up...a real professional. She's white trash in a uniform who has had her day

Let’s start with Solo’s history of PUBLICLY announced transgressions. Probably a lot more incidents that occurred privately with her teammates.

She clearly has a history of issues fueled by alcohol, anger management and childhood trauma. More than likely was on probation/zero tolerance after the 2015 incident.

- 2016 she made waves about her Zika concerns
- In 2015 she was suspended after her husband Jerramy Stevens was arrested for a DUI while driving a U.S. Soccer van with her in the vehicle.
- in 2014 she was arrested for allegedly attacking her half-sister and nephew.
- in 2012 she blasted former U.S. player Brandi Chastain over criticisms of the team in 2012.
- In 2007 she was benched at World Cup. She tore down fellow goalie Briana Scurry after the team lost in the 2007 World Cup semifinals.
