Assuming you are same poster, do you realize that you are arguing against yourself?

      Post A: Jocks are Entitled.
This means they think they deserve more than they are actually worth, or put more simply: the over-value themselves.

Post B: Jocks are too dumb to know what they are worth
Now you are saying that they are dumb, and that they under-value themselves.

You, you are not that bright.

Our first experience in the world of GPS; our son played this past spring on a U18B team and we had a lousy (and I mean terribly lousy) high school coach coaching his team. Awful first impression of GPS, several people asked for and received refunds. Things were misrepresented to us, that's probably the kindest thing we can say.

Not good, but I don't think any club puts any effort and resources into a U18B team. Not defending them, but at that age, you are wasting money, no matter the club.

I don't believe this for a second. I mean, I believe people asked for refunds, but actually receiving them???? Nah. That's not how the Bradley Brothers roll.

None of the clubs roll like that. Try asking FC Stars or NEFC or FC Boston for a refund? The answer will be absolutely not, unless you just experienced a season-ending injury at the beginning of the season and expect to miss the rest of the season, and even then it's on a case-by-case basis...

There are 13 GPS "Elite" teams in the U11 and U12 boys brackets. I don't know if their "elite" means the same thing that I understand "elite" to be.

From U13 to U15 they introduce NPL teams so you'd expect the whole "elite" thing to settle down but it doesn't. There are 17 "Elite" boys teams in these brackets.

So NPL is really "Elite" even though it's only called NPL at these ages. So is "Elite" at U13-U15 just kind of "elite?"

                e·lite
                əˈlēt, āˈlēt (noun)

                1. a select part of a group that is superior to the rest in terms of ability or qualities.

There are 30 "Elite" GPS boys teams from U11-U15. C'mon mate!

Relax, it's just a level designation for each region. Those teams are "elite", by your definition, compared to the five other teams below them in the region. Everyone knows the only real elite youth players are on the YNTs.

Just read on Cracking Code thread that NEFC is now adopting the same "Elite" label for what used to be their United teams.

GPS looks to be getting stronger. There are talks that they are taking over a CT powerhouse club, SportingCT. Game over.

GPS has always been a joke in MA and expect it to remain that way.

Sporting is anything but a powerhouse. It's only a few years old, hasn't even won a watered down state cup in any age bracket. Someone at Sporting has been glorifying the club on the CT board and now it seems they moved to the MA board as well.

PS yes I live in CT. I check the MA board sometimes for DA info. What's the deal with the 1000 GPS threads? If it's true GPS/Sporting are merging it sounds like a perfect match of the misfits lol

Zero GPS finals wins on the boys side at the Stars tournament. FCUSA had a much better showing than the "best club in New England."

Oh how the mighty have fallen.

GPS 06 Elite lose to the Bolts twice.

GPS ME 05 lose to NEFC twice.

GPS NPL 04 can't get past Seacoast.

GPS NPL 03 can't win a single game.

GPS NPL 02 can't beat FCUSA so they miss the finals.

Maybe GPS is the best of the rest in New England. What happened to this once proud club? Maybe things would have worked out better if it was a GPS tournament where they control the brackets. Oh well.

                              Haha

Let's end this thread on the most uninformed person on here.

Tell me how teams beat teams twice when they only played once?

You are a fool. Please inform us other than the 2002 age group what your fc USA club won?

It would be stupid not to judge teams on 1-2 training sessions and then games. I'll be surprised if these teams who won this weekend don't win everything all season.

Look forward to your next post
