    I think it would have been too much to add three new birth years to the program in one year ('03-'05) had they aligned this year. Makes much more sense to add two this year, '03 & '04, and then two next year with the alignment, '05 & '06. More time to get coaches with the correct credentials and to scout out/accelerate development for kids targeted for those additional 2017/18 teams.

      No the problems were on the other end of the age groups. Word is next year there will be only one two-year age group for 2000-2001 plus a smaller 1999 for seniors.
