How can this possibly happen from that angle? It wasn't even a toe kick. freak injury? was his lower leg just too skinny? Luke Shaw?

Ok that was gross. But looks like a freak thing. One of my kids broke his tibia playing in the yard. Sh** happens. Bones heals better than ligaments
