In terms of class A, I think the isl only has a few eligible schools. Milton, Belmont hill and BBN. Are there any others? So if any (or all) of those teams have down years, then the ISL representation will be limited. There's almost always at least 2 ISL teams that make it into the class B playoffs, sometimes more if their records are good enough. Looks like Milton and BH should get in to class A and Brooks and probably nobles in to class B. Whether another team can squeak in remains to be seen.

Actually, those schools have both. Lots of repeats and PG's. Very different when you can bring in 3-5 new senior athletes on a team. Having a couple of repeat 9th graders is not the same thing at all.

No, but having 3-5 repeat juniors is. Let's not cry too much for the ISL schools for not having 13th graders. They aren't that different than the Worcester's, Loomis's, Berkshire's of the world.

Haha. No school in the ISL does that. Show me one who does. Andover and Exeter will all have a bunch of PG as well as Juniors and Sophomores who repeat. That doesn't even include Worcester or Berkshire who have 5-10 new juniors or PGs most years. Not even remotely the same thing.

I don't even think there are 3-5 repeat juniors who came into the whole league this year. Worcester has 4 this year alone.

Berkshire recruit plenty of talented foreign players, but most come for multiple years. Pretty sure their most well known, Lewis and Harrison, both attended 4 years.

Then don't play in the NEPSAC tournament. If ISL schools aren't willing to compete with he rest of the world, then screw. ISL teams are the best teams in NEPSAC anyway.

No one is saying they can't compete or that they don't want to. Just saying that recruiting machine schools like Berkshire, Worcester, and South Kent do it very differently than ISL schools. Saying a few repeats at St. Sebs or Belmont Hill is the same thing is crazy.

Milton Academy has its players repeat 8th grade, same difference

There's no prejudice against Isl teams in nepsac. One can sometimes quibble with the 8th seed, but the committee usually picks the right teams based on the available data.

Agreed. They generally get the right teams in the tourney.

Milton has and has had several double repeats.

Milton has dozens of them running around campus. Lots of 20 year olds on the campus. Have you seen the size of their team. Outrageous.
