    Why not CFC or FSA?

Seacoast is a nice club but it doesn't have a deep enough pool to warrant one of these slots. Oakwood or FSA in CT. Delco is questionable. Lots of good clubs to choose from in that market. They also need a western PA addition.

CFC is the only club in Ct that can handle the GDAP. FSA has zero chance. Oakwood gets in only if CFC didn't apply. Beachside has an outside shot if they go in together with a Westchester NY area team. Seacoast has a decent shot.

Beachside? come on. World Class will be able to cover the Westchester area. Seacoast doesn't have enough of a surrounding population to pull from and Stars are close enough to cover NH and southern ME.

Best thing I heard so far is that the DA is doing the girls side as a one year experiment. If it's successful they will stick with it. If not back to the drawing board. Clubs jumping on better hope they don't burn bridges behind them.

Heard from the ECNL crowd locally that CFC was approached and did not apply for GDAP. Their system is lot like NEFC, volume play around the state and try to aggregate into ECNL at u15+, not exactly the model that USSF is looking for.

I'm not as familiar with Oakwood but it certainly seems like CFC has been the destination club down there, it would be like every here suddenly flocking to Aztec as the top program for girls.

Supposedly Beachside only had three girls teams this year and is struggling to retain girls. CFC and FSA not interested. OW already has boys DA and they need the boost - it does ok in NPL but the better players tend to do ecnl.
