The old touchline admin meant well - but made some very odd decisions and seemed to increase conflict whenever he stepped in.

He was kind of like the old Gilda Radner character on SNL - "oh you meant that - never mind" But instead of the nevermind response he would dig into his position even deeper.

I think you are being very kind. He basically had zero clue about how to run a discussion board. He privately PM'd me that HIS Forum did not operate under the presumption of Freedom of Speech. In any case that is history and it is nice that there is a new venue for us to debate the various issues that interest us in the world of soccer. Hopefully it will be a free exchange of ideas where folks are allowed to express themselves.
