Ahhhh. The build it in Boston and they will come crowd has spoken. Pretty good crowds at other venues from what I have seen. Levis Stadium is not downtown.

I'm a non wealthy white urban dad who would have loved to take his kids but not at those prices. A lot of professional sports are too expensive for the average Joe, at least to do on a regular basis or take the whole family. I supposed the upside is when watching on tv you can turn down the volume. I probably would have shoved a whistle down a neighbor's throat if he'd been blowing it in my ear all game

Tough when you have four storied franchises that have had dedicated fans for decades, people who grew up in families who followed the Sox, Pats, Celts or Bruins. Hard to make room for another one, especially the Revs, or for a sport many didn't grow up with/play. Then add cost and location on top of that, along with owners who put no effort into it.

The legalized scalping via ticketmaster, ace tickets, stub hub and the rest of the secondary market pushes the prices well beyond their worth. And it's not just this event, it's across the board.

You are actually going to blame the lack of showing on the 'wealthy white community' west of Boston? Why do you think that these folk should be blamed? ..and why do you think that they would want to shell out big money to watch a game that could be essentially over in the first half if one team scores 1 goal?
By the way, do you know the makeup of the fans at Gillette? There was a large percentage of minorities.....
