Do you really believe that NEP teams are far superior to teams playing in Maple upper divisions. What do you base this on? Is it because the word "National" has some sort of relevance? I'm sorry to burst your bubble but there are very good players in each league and some not very good. The overall concentration of good players may be better in NEP but playing in this league is in no way an indication that you're a better soccer player than a Maple player. It's possible that due to the size of the clubs that the bottom of some rosters may be stronger and that can make a difference in games. I hardly think that gives any merit to all the boastful comments made here and on other threads. I suppose it makes it easier to write those checks and log all of those miles...whatever works for you.

Have you ever looked at what those rankings are based on? Some of the higher ranked teams rosters have completely changed since the teams began getting GS points. If that's the only tool that you use to evaluate a club/teams level of ability...good luck to you.
If you change half of the roster of a team you cease to retain the previous iteration of the team's GS points.
Until you come up with a better system I think this one does a passable job.
How else should we evaluate teams? If you aren't a good team, and you can't get into a good tournament, and you don't play other good teams I would suggest you are not that good of a team.
