    Region I Premier League Playoffs

So who do we think will challenge to win this automatic ticket to the Regionals and who do we not think we be able to do this?

I would say that the Scorps U14s and Stars U15s enter as favorites. I wouldn't bet against the Stars U16s, although they will need to avenge a big loss to PDA. Stars U17s and Scorps U15s are underdogs but they have overacheived all spring so why should this change. If the Stars U18s get in they too will be underdogs, but they have traditionally performed well in Delaware.

Bolys U-14s probably don't want Herndon to sneak in.

I think Stars U16, but not Stars U15, but agree with all you the rest of the way.

Scorps 15s are unequivocally a huge underdog against PDA Charge. The injured players are making their way back, which should help. It would be quite an upset if they were to defeat PDA Charge.

Curious about your Stars 15s prediction. Why not? Serious talent and athleticism on this team. Who do you think will advance in this age group? Is PDA the like choice?

              What about the boys ?

U14B Bolts - Very good team, but can't see them winning it all. Dix Hills and SAC are too good. Bolts should be a shoo-in for state cup anyway.

U18B Stars - Hard to handicap this age group as many of the top players are now playing for Academy teams. The Northern Division seems much stronger than the Southern so I suspect both they and Massapequa will make the finals. I will predict another tie between the two teams with Stars winning in PK's.

The Bolts U14s are very good, yes. I could see them making a run down there.

Haven't seen the Stars 18s, but I've heard a lot about this group recently. Wouldn't that be great if they could pull this off.

                  girls side

Scorpions U14 with best chance of winning

Stars U16 are the favorite, but who knows with this season's PDA result.

Stars U15 should lose to Penn Strikers, but again, would have said the same thing at Regionals...

Scorpions U15 are just here for the party.

Neither Stars older team will make it.

Don't count the U16 Stars out. They're now on a roll.

...not if they are overconfident like last year! They began to believe all the 'press clippings' after the R1PL win last year and they lost their edge.

Which team will emerge in Kirkwood and at the State Cup this year? Time will tell.

Why is it with Stars 16s it is okay to attack the players? Has anyone attacked Scorpions 16s (the state cup and regional winner) when they lost to Stars and tied Rovers and have had pretty mediocre results except for their own tournament? No. Is it that you think Stars are better than Scorpions and so the only thing that can bring them down is personal attacks? Probably not. It's pretty clear you have an agenda.

Let the kids play and stop with the personal attacks and "predictions"

Didn't you just attack the Scorpions with THAT comment???

They need to cut about 10 more players again. Didn't that work great ? Everybody one big happy family ?

If three Mass teams can win this, it'll be a major success considering the strength of the teams in NJ, Maryland, and Eastern NY.
