True. This year's list on TS is very lacking of plenty of names going d1. But February signing is coming.

Of course that's a third explanation! And the other post - February NLI surge coming - is certainly correct; I'm wondering if it's an artifact of listing more out-of-state-origin prep school player's commits than I remember from previous seasons (in past years folks screened those out) rather than anything more than random noise in time series data - or has something changed, maybe more non-DAP prospects going via private school/PG year since DAP went 10-month? I just thought there were quite a few prep school kids listed this year...

NEPSAC has become the best scholastic soccer league in the country. Just 1 year out of Berkshire Jack Harrison today became the number 1 overall pick of MLS. I think that's a pretty good piece of proof. Rivers' Trevor Davock's great freshman season at BC is another. There is no question that the educational/athletic value of NEPSAC schools coupled with NEFC, Stars, GPS premier teams is gaining steam as an alternate New England route to D1 soccer scholarships.
