The "???" was me in that prior post. It was only intended as asking the person to elaborate about the opportunity for this player. I hope it wasn't looked at as questioning player ability or personal decisions. And hopefully it didn't fuel any of the distasteful comments that unfortunately followed. Decisions are are up to that player and family. We all have the freedom to take the path we want in life. Sometimes, interesting opportunities arise. Interest in others is one thing. I think it would be really cool if my son got to play soccer in Iceland- beautiful country, beautiful people, the beautiful game. Obviously depends on what you want, but for me, much better than my high-paying job with my fancy degree. He can get a degree later if he wants.
