Translation please. If you are in any way inferring that JM is being highly recruited by ACC teams than I just know even less than nothing about this game.

I don't know about "highly recruited," but he was invited to a select weekend (+/- 30 players) at a recent national champion ACC school. There are plenty of other d1 programs besides those in the ACC, which is the top soccer conference in the country.

I seem to recall that teams can have one day of off-season competition (a spring jamboree where you play a couple of games), but I don't see where the rules say even that is OK. I know some will have lifting and other student-led activities most every day, but wondering if the coach can participate in the spring.

Beginning two weeks after the fall season, my kid's D3 team played almost daily unsupervised futsal. They were permitted to have a certain number of sessions with the school's strength and conditioning specialist. The "spring season" consists of approximately 15 training sessions with the coaching staff, an alumni game, and a game with a nearby D1 team.

BA's son got into Stanford through a former Bolts coach; we know the rest of the story. His second son got into a D1. Wouldn't be surprised if this was another of BA's tricks. CP tries to sell his son as the next big thing; just another OK player. Against top teams he looks usually rather mediocre.

JD easily best player on that team. JD always a top player and good character.

Actually the U18 has been losing consistently. Things will get better when all of the mediocre players are gone. BA's son and Revere kids leaving this year, CP's son and SG's son next year. The problem will continue if the club is used as a ticket for college placement and not as a serious academy team.
