As if anyone except for a competitor's club has any idea as to how good / poor a coaching staff may be. And even then, the arrogance of said competitor clouds the objectivity. The entire analysis and incessant drivel about it is grade-c marketing at best.

Now that try-outs are over (or almost over in some cases), anybody get new bodies? Stars ECNL? NEFC Elite? Scorpions ECNL?

Nothing exciting at tryouts is what I've witnessed. Just above average speed newbees with no skill including my kid.

Agreed. Seems like status quo. Stars gets Scorps best player. Hurts he Scorps but don't think it gets stars past NEFC.

Depth - at some point it will matter - if Nefc does not deepen they too fall behind.

I thought the race was to which club could make the most money in mass. Wins = more participants = more money .
