Maybe Stars will change their strategy to compete, maybe Breakers or GPS will make some adjustments.
So you say. Just because you've stated it doesn't make it true. NEFC has a great team at U15 and other strong teams at other ages. None are dominant, even within the relatively weak MA / New England region. When your one great team is one injury away from being simply above average, then you aren't what you're claiming. Sorry, your incessant recruiting pitch probably won't work (once again).

SS Select has also had a great year.

NEFC is a better girls club than Stars now. It's not close. Stars is not what it used to be.
Of course you still think NEFC wins. I wouldn't expect presenting the whole picture would change your mind.

You specifically said U14. Now you are changing it to a club as a whole. Stars also beat Breakers 2-0 in March. You also said like opponents which Stars has an significant advantage their as well but you claimed it was NEFC. I don't know about other age groups but Stars is better at U14. All I ask is anybody who makes a point here be objective. Obviously NEFC is better at U15 and I think in other age groups they have the head to head advantage when they played in the fall so they are doing something right. Stars looks better at U14. The results seem to back that up.

I would put SS Select behind those two. They haven't won anything local all year until Needham where they barely beat Stars U13. It is also well documented the results they have in the SSS thread the difference between when they play with just U14's and the combined roster when they add the U13 NT player and the goalie. Still a good team but not quite at the level until those players are added.

The current 14s haven't played each other since State cup last May: 2-0 Stars
There aren't a lot of common opponents but NEFC has tied a couple of Northeast ECNL teams recently
NEFC Elite and FC Bucks tied 1-1 at Delco a week and a half ago
Stars beat the Bucks 4 days ago 5-0 and 3-0 in October
NEFC Elite tied FSA in March 0 -0
Stars beat FSA 2-0 in the Spring and 8-0 in the Fall

Though these "they beat A who beat B" things are usually pretty hard to determine a conclusion - this seems pretty clear cut at the GU14 level. Still, I wish they ended all this separate league foolishness and played each other more often to the benefit of all.
These seem to be the most recent like opponents both coming within then past two weeks. Stars ECNL just beat FSA 3-1 over Memorial Day weekend on top of the other two wins. I do not like the common opponent argument but since somebody used it to make an argument for NEFC it looks like it actually strengthens Stars argument that they are better. They seem to score more and give up less against common opponents. Should be interesting to see at U15 since NEFC has already grabbed some Select players.

Lie: stars only destination blah blah blah you've lost/losing your best player(s)

Lie: nefc will be the team lots of scheming here players jumping ship from stars maybe scorps trying to angle for the the super team. Hey nefc families how do you feel about being dismissed shortly?

Biggest lie: select bleeding players not so much still the only team that has won things that are real and the only team already on tap for more real chances coming shortly. Gaining players sorry
True: LL desperately trying to salvage of whatever is left from a club that always fulfill its prophecy at age 13 and up- losing players to other clubs.

IMO, the parents that make the kids leave just bring trouble to their new club. Need to get these parents off their high horse and let the kids enjoy the game. Too many players have regressed so much that switch clubs and they have their parents to thank. And yes, I know most of you are on TS, you need to tone it down.

Who regressed after they left select? Give me one example of a good player that did that.
Your scary tactics worked to a point, but now that they see the light...

Any big player movement amongst the top teams for next year?

Best 4 are Stars, Breakers, NEFC and SS Select. Anyone picking up or losing good players or too early to tell?

When ISN'T there movement between them? I've literally lost track of the number of players I know who have moved between 3 out of 4 of those clubs named.
