There's your crazed narcissism again, BTNT. In your mind, only you can do anonymous post detection. Unfortunately, your themes, writing style, and implicit confirmations of your identity are usually obvious to anyone paying attention. And I highly doubt that anyone is "obsessed" with or "jealous" of you as a person, Heinsohn.

If someone else makes a different decision, why do you care? It's not your kid and whether they make a mistake or nothing to you.

Funny how you blame BTDT for trying to convince people that his way is the way to do it when you have been doing it for years now. I've always said that you constantly project onto others your own behavior. Thus is just another example.

And please do not bore the forum with another post of accusing me of being of being BTDT or whatever acronym you intend to use. I am a poster who had one kid go D3 and transfer to another D3 when the decision to change majors came about and another kid who went D1 and remained at the school all 4 years. Both played soccer. The D3 for 2 years before transferring. The D1 played all 4 years as did all of her classmates with one exception, a kid from the west coast.
Interesting. Haven't posted in 7-8 hours and I see a few references to myself. One glaring giveaway above, BTDT, is that I've NEVER, EVER, NEVER argued that my chose D3 OVER D1. I've been crystal clear form day one that my kid did not have D1 talent. We were NEVER disappointed because it was never in the cards and playing a high level of D3 exceeded expectations. Sorry you can't understand that we were thrilled. The other glaring error is that I've never told others what to do. That's your deal. Your relentless deal....obsessively assuring others they aren't as good as they think, that you know better how they should spend their money, that you are the holder of ultimate truth regarding the value (and in your mind lack thereof) of D3. Not to mention that you're now blasting and bashing about transferring which may beat your record for ironic stupidity. Let's keep this simple. You're a complete joke and every single soccer person in the state knows it.

If your kid, under your close guidance, went to an academically and athletically low D1 and transferred to an even academically and athletically lower D3 such as MCLA, despite far better options available to her--and if you were a solipsist--you might think that transferring is generally an unmitigated disaster, too.

It mystifies me why Heiny continues to humiliate himself on T-S.

If I had his record of poor decision making I would keep a very low profile.

Does anyone support his views regarding soccer? (Certainly many people enjoy his getting under P's skin.)

With all the advantages he has had, what has he accomplished? Completely failing as a father-adviser to his older daughter.

With his fancy D1 education and his father's contacts he should have done far more with his life. What a sad sad specimen of a human being. What a waste of opportunity.

Rather amusing how the D3 parents always have so much to say about the ECNL and D1 soccer when they clearly don't know sh!t from shyola about what it takes to be a D1 scholarship athlete.

"Rather amusing"? Did you really you use that phrase again, BTNT??? Now why don't you deny it was you and make an even bigger fool of yourself. And, btw, you're confused, D3 parents haven't said a word about ECNL or D1. Were you conscious of the fact that you were punishing your kid?

Please tell us what it takes.

For sake of argument, let's define a scholarship athlete as someone who is getting at least a 1/3 scholarship. How many Mass girls fall into that category each year? 4, 6, but probably not 10. So, T-S should be all about those few kids? Perhaps there should be a separate place, with PH as the admin, for those very few who fit in the category. Then the rest of us peasants could stay on T-S and have a CIVIL DISCUSSION.

Very well said. Cujo and Perspective are the biggest fools on this forum.

What a dumb ass. He's actually in a thread with a bunch of D1 parents pretending he knows how much money THEIR kids got. Cetainly wasn't a third fool.

For a real laugh take a look at his Facebook page. I wonder what his daughters think of his page. It really is sad.

Shame on me for picking on him. But he is such a bully and blowhard on T-S that I cannot resist.
