Or could be that you just have an ultra-idiosyncratic view that you try to shove down others' throats. You STILL have never answered why you do or should care about how others run their affairs. Almost NO ONE on this board would do what you did to your kid, unless it was out of absolute necessity.

Why would what is happening on a site I haven't looked at draw anyone's ire? And, again, why do you care so much what others do? And why should they have to justify themselves to you? Isn't that exactly how you feel when your miserable errors are pointed out?

You should have read the articles first before citing them as some evidence in support of you, LOL.

With US Soccer's announcement that they are basically going to form a Girls DAP one has to wonder now if Perspective will abandon the Stars/ECNL defense and jump on that bandwagon. Could you imagine how funny it will be when he has to start defending NEFC or GPS if they get one of the franchises.

And the article didn't confirm anything from your "environment...fix it" post. Not a single reference to promo-relegation, LOL! And interesting that you have penciled in NEFC for something that is many years from actually happening. Bottom line, they are moving to an ECNL model with a residency program attached (which you should be happy about so the very best players don't suffer the indignity of training with watered down NESCAC players).

The funny part is Perspective likes to see himself as the protector of truth yet when the truth is put right in front of him he turtles up. The undeniable facts in that article are that US Soccer sees the environment as broken and their solution doesn't entail the ECNL. If anyone want true information about what is going on they should read the article because it is basically a new mission statement for youth soccer.

The funny part is that it doesn't say a thing about ECNL, positive or negative, but does endorse a developmental model, like DAP which ECNL was based on. And no mention of BTDT's infamous promo-relegation. The "new mission" is years away and sounds not a thing like BTNT's model.

Where he certainly was correct was identifying that things were broken. The recommendation is for a Girls Residential program along with a Girls DAP and something to address the college level players. It doesn't make sense that they are would build upon what they have to see as a broken foundation. The thing that is going to take the biggest hit here is US Club Soccer. They are going to side step them like they did with DAP.
