I am kind of sick of the talk that Massachusetts hasn't produced any talent. There are mant examples that Massachusetts has done well. Of course someone is going to point out the number of kids from New Hampshire and Rhode Island, or wherever, but you miss the point. They came to Massachusetts to play on youth teams and continued their development here that led them to greater achievements, the following being one of the best examples.
FOXBOROUGH – Thierry Henry brought a reputation, world-class skill, and plenty of will along with his New York Red Bulls to Gillette Stadium Saturday. But that wasn’t enough to overcome a team sparked by couple of local players – Charlie Davies and Chris Tierney – who combined for two goals in a 2-2 tie that sends the Revolution to their fifth MLS Cup final next Sunday.
