Yup, it happened. Games played in the town park, not on school grounds, but yup...BBQ and drinking/drunk obnoxious adults...at a high school game. First for me too and I've been involved in youth soccer for many years.

Some of the Easthampton MA girls parents set up BBQ behind the goal during today's game.

Isn't there some MIAA rule about fans not standing or sitting behind the endline?

From what I hear, the opposing coach complained and was informed that the parents in question were standing on private property. The park backs up into a fan's yard, so apparently, this means no action can be taken.

They still get my vote...
