So what do you want others to see? That Bolts is a great club?
MR is more the exception than the rule when looking at the Bolts program. Just have a look at the U18 team. Several players who were developed by Bolts for years can achieve a 2-10-2 record. In the last showcase they lost 3-0 in the first game and tied to a boarding school for sports in the second. Yes they won the last game, but against a team that is equally weak. How is the current U18 representing Bolts according to you?

OP here. Both MA academy clubs are well represented in top D1 college soccer programs in recent years. An emerging trend however, is with their prohibition of HS soccer, that ISL teams are developing players who play for better non Academy teams in club, then get to D1 schools.

You bring up a good point regarding the emerging trend. The graduating 2016 class was impacted by the "non-waiver" for high school. It will be interesting to see how many non-DAP players end up at D1 schools. The Revs have a stellar class graduating in 2016 and I expect that many will play D1. NEFC and GPS will place more players in D1 that the Bolts class of 2016.

There is a strong tradition of ISL schools developing the top athletes for basketball and lacrosse. The key decision is do parents want their kids in these types of schools? Many do. Once that decision is made, the DAP loses. And the ISL schools are showing they can develop the best athletes by themselves. Zeiko Lewis, Jack Harrison, and Trevor Davock are only the beginning. DAP will still gets there's, but will pool will shrink. Not sure 2 teams can feed from that trough.

DAP will grant more waivers (which it looks like they're doing for this spring- lots of ISL kids on the DAP rosters- principally Bolts). I heard the MA kids are mostly playing GPS rather than DAP for spring.

The prior post cited basketball and lacrosse but it's more than that (certainly hockey). Lewis and Harrison were Berkshire players, which is different in some ways than ISL. It can be even more difficult for foreign prep players to handle the logistics of playing for a regular club, let alone DAP.

ISL's are good at searching all over for top players then paying their way so they can win in the athletic "arms" race.
