Besides the fact that soccer $ is not very common and not very significant, you'll never see that list because it's confidential between the player, his family and the school. None of the parties involved want their information made public, with good reason. And "getting money" is not a good indicator of the quality of the player, the program or the school

If you want to talk about money, I know kids who will be playing soccer at very good D3 schools who got $100k+ in scholarships.....which i know for a fact is more than what some of the D1 kids on this list will be getting.

Unless he comes out and says so publicly it's all speculation, and in the case of this player plenty of gossip as well.

Agree with this. Some of the names on D1 weren't recruited and won't see a minute of playing time.

Again you'll never see a scholarship list- it's confidential information and doesn't always reflect the quality of the player.

As for playing time some ambitious poster takes a look at this each year. It's eye opening and worth a look. Here's the one from the 2013 class and there are ones for 2012 and 2011.

OP here, and I am that "ambitious" poster. Hopefully all this is useful reference material. To an earlier question comparing D1 committed numbers, here is that info:

              2012 D1 boys = 18
              2013 D1 boys = 35
              2014 D1 boys = 29
              2015 D1 boys = 35

This is as of late April for all 4. The final numbers will be higher. So 2015 D1 is a strong number. BTW, the D3 number normally approaches 100 boys. It is low now because it happens later and the names are harder to find.

If they're more in the D3 category those tend to trickle in later than D1

Seriously? The kid spent the better part of last year telling everyone he was going to Harvard. If Harvard said yes, he'd be going to Harvard. Instead there was a big scramble in December coinciding with the EA notification date. Sure, it's all speculation but it's not too hard to connect the dots.

But why do you care so much? You seem to think this is bigger than a Kardashian story. Any of our kids could be focused on a school and have to choose an alternative in the end. Maybe he didn't get in Harvard. Would that really be a story??? Maybe he and his advisors saw the other recruits coming in and decided his situation would be better elsewhere. There are 5 star bball recruits changing their minds right at this moment based on where some other 5 star recruits have committed and/or whether certain players are returning or entering the draft. The point is that there is nothing profound to dig up here.

I would hope so. He has a three year advantage on all the other kids so I am sure he is putting that to work
