Archii Hakkapeliittaa, an exchange student from Finland attending Wellesley High, is planning to attend Williams. Not sure if this belongs on this thread, but he is supposedly very good and almost turned pro.

SNHU will pick up div 1 commits that have a tough time academically, as well as some transfers who were not getting playing time, surprised coach is still there thought he would move on to div 1 school

This kid played for Wellesley this year? We played them twice and they didn't have anyone close to going pro.

of course they will, SNHU isnt an academic powerhouse. I dont know if any other school that runs TV spots constantly about their "degrees"

Why isn't Chris Lewis going D1? He might be the best guy on the entire list....

Would be interested in estimates of the amount of scholarship money the D1 prospects got from their colleges of choice relative to the amount of money their families expended getting them to that choice.

Thanks for stopping over on a boys thread, BTNT? Just can't resist these commitments threads, can you? What do you figure? Most of those D1 commits walk-ons or mostly with very little money? You tell 'em BTBT. Rub their faces in it good and hard. Feel better?

Here's an idea. You start. Tell us how much YOU have spent getting your D1 commitment. ANd don't forget to add in the ISL costs, please.

did AK get into Harvard mainly because of soccer? I heard his GPA and scores were not impressive

Would you have posted that question about any other player on the list if you had heard something similar? Be honest. Incredibly intrusive question, and you clearly didn't think twice about posting it.

On a board full of dbags, that was a pretty d-bag comment - and also none of your business

That is not really an unreasonable question. There are a couple of other players on that list who will not be going to the school listed because of academic eligiblity issues. Sometimes the soccer can overcome the academics, sometimes not.

Not unreasonable, you say? And then on cue you allude to two other kids but conveniently don't list their names.

Doesn't mean that much. I know a kid who didn't get in one of these schools after being listed as a commitment and was just named a 1st team Academic All American as a college senior. Go figure.
