Definitely not envious. As for the immature comment, then many people must be immature, because I am quoting the many parents I speak with that have left the club. People don't realize that there are far better coaches at some of the bigger clubs, but people get sucked in by the accent and think being an English coach makes them superior to other coaches. What has England done since 1966? Reality is the GPS coaches get paid a couple of hundred bucks per week, live with host families, and they are here to have fun. You will always get a few decent coaches, but they are few and far between.

The GPS NPL Boys U13 team is just unbelievable. Haven't seen a soccer squad with so many extraordinary players like that in these parts in over a decade. Nice to see here in Mass, someone is doing something right.

GPS is a very large club. I'm actually surprised that so many parents are willing to travel so much as this age group. Given the geographic reach of GPS (the entire state), I would say its fair to compare to an all star team from the many smaller clubs out there. Yes, they are there. That being said, this team seems to have an abundance of depth in talent.

Up until 2008, Spain had achieved pretty much zero in International soccer and then straight away, all their coaches had the soccer panacea.

The world has moved on. Internet, Social Media, Cable TV Stations devoted to all levels of the game. If you want soccer knowledge and coaching expertise, you can get it. There are few secrets any more, the difference is really how hard you're willing to work for it.
