Are you kidding me? GPS took all its better players and stuck them on one team to win games. Did they develop all those players?

Why would you criticize GPS for forming an 'A' team? This is no different than any other large club (NEFC, Stars, Bolts) that has different regional teams. This 'A' team is still part of the same club. I would venture to guess that most of the U13B NPL team have been long time MPS/GPS players.

As to your response, I agree that GPS got out-coached, however, and to my earliest post, CB was not trying to develop anything regarding soccer skill....he only wanted to survive and, if you want to claim any form of education, only attempted to teach survival skills.....not soccer skills. At this age group, they are NOT the same. I would rather see my u13 team lose while trying to win and play soccer than to have played the 'hunker down' soccer. I suppose that NEFC will have to go on a recruiting frenzie within Massachusetts and abroad (Africa might yield something) before their next game with GPS.......or will it be survival play again? Ooooooh!!! They beat Rocky Hill FC....the 74th ranked team in Ct!!! I guess it does prove that they can score goals. I look forward to the next meeting with GPS to see if CB will let the boys leave the defensive half in search of a goal.....well at least a shot on goal.

Rocky Hill FC, great win by CB.The only NPL entry that doesn't belong there. They wanted an NPL team apparently for future merging possibilities with GPS who need a Connecticut presence, we here. In any case, CB is a coward.

I've heard good things about this team recently... Rumor has it that they've managed to get their hands on some new talent. They have a couple of players on the 15's GPS national team too. One from bulldogs, the two fast twins from crusaders, and another who played academy? Correct me if I'm wrong on anything, mostly just rumors.

Dumb Dumb - I have said it already, it's the GPS coach you should be mocking, not CB. He got out-coached and wasn't able to penetrate an NEFC defense. You can butter it up any way you want, but if you can't make tactical adjustments, then you need to go back and take some more soccer courses. I don't know CB but I have seen his teams play and this is not the style I have seen. You must be a bitter parent or coach who had his son cut or had your rear end handed to you by one of his teams. Either way, GPS couldn't win the game and mocking a person is not a "purely objective argument". It's infantile and you should grow up, or be a man and say it to his face.
