I don't think anyone is bashing NU - and plenty of the locals are supporters. BA on the other hand is pretty polarizing - people either love him or hate him - that's where the comments come from. His theatrics and filthy mouth - which his players copy - are aimed at getting the opposing team to lose their cool - he makes the game ugly.

Delaware and several other teams will trample NU in conference. They can hope to do OK in the conference playoffs, but little chance winning it. Preseason picked to finish 6th. They may be able to do a little better than that.

Im not sure if your volume was muted, but I was at the game and heard the F word used more than once from both sets of players.

WHO CARES if they swear? Why are people even discussing and arguing about adults swearing when playing soccer. Get a grip!

This is a very good point because it gets at the core of good coaching (Harvard) and bad coaching (NU). When you and your coach lack composure and patience, emotions take over, players get berated and frustrated, and they stop thinking and stop playing - they give up 3 goals in 17 minutes. When a coach gives positive advice, to be patient, to play the game, to not give up because the goals will come, then a team might score 3 goals after 75 minutes of frustration. A good coach doesn't want himself or his players acting out emotionally, using the F word.

And why don't you look in your code of conduct at where you are employed. I guarantee it says that foul language cannot be used in the work place, but yet, I am sure you and all of your colleagues do. I don't get what your point is and why people are getting upset with adults using bad language during an important game.
