If you don't come into camp fit, you won't get cut, you just won't play until you catch up or surpass everyone else.

As far as the JR goes, NU would have loved him to play and contribute to the team. He is well liked and well respected but his heart isn't in it. He is happy to not be playing.

And so we have Harvard playing Northeastern, with the following stats:
Harvard has won three straight, including quality win over BC.
Northeastern has lost 5 of its last 6 with its only win a nailbiting, last second OT victory over lowly UML.
Head to head, NU lost to Hartford 1-0 and Harvard beat them 4-1.
This all adds up to an easy win Harvard.
I don't think that is what will happen.

Net/net cutting players, especially older ones with no options, is a pretty shi*ty thing to do. Junior they cut started almost all games last year. He wasn't a bench warmer. Like someone said better go into this college process knowing nothing is safe. And you better really like the school because you may have unexpected free time on your hands.
