Becoming less and less relevant. If you live within a reasonable drive AND your club options are limited AND your child can handle the load with academics perhaps it makes sense.

'00 team has had a great deal of turnover since last year. Kids not playing? Other kids growing? Simply differences in coaches style of play and associated preferences? Movement A-B B-A and completely on and off. Any insights?
ODP sucks is not really helpful. I think we all understand its limitations but it remains the only ID program with open tryouts.

I heard that a chaperone bailed as soon as their kid didn't make a few early pools, leaving folks in a lurch. Not sure if this is the same person you speak of. Either way its ridiculous! What are wrong with some parents?
