That can't be!!! ISN'T impossible for MAPLE teams to beat ECNL teams on the big stage??? Much less the NPL teams (joke). If you are going to travel...do it for a good reason. How does that make all the fools feel who dropped another needless $10k on pre ECNL this year? It only gets worse folks next year. There are plenty of good paths to get your kids noticed and this SS Select is proving it.

Actually this is the recently #1 Bethesda who also beat the select team 2-1
and Scorps ECNL 5-2 at Delco. They are an excellent team. Congrats to SSS

SS Select has a habit of losing their players to other clubs. Not sure if it will happen here but I would bet you will see leakage to NEFC, Breakers and Stars. Seems to be how it always goes for this club.

Nope. Seeing NEFC, the self-announced #2 club on the East Coast (no hype intended of course), fail so miserably will make me feel good for a long, long time. Go Select, and shame on BTDT for crapping on Select when his age group were U13s, bashing 12 year old girls on this site.

Not at all. But if history repeats itself, 50% of this team will be gone by U14/U15. What is the plan to keep them together? The Big Guys will be circling, offering scholarships, exposure etc. Enjoy it while it lasts.

30% of the Stars Pre-ECNL team just got cut and more than half of that team will be replaced in the next two years. By the way, the 10K extra per year it costs playing with all the extra travel expenses it costs ain't coming back. So by U16 when it matters most of that roster will be gone. Enjoy it while it lasts.
