    TS Social experiment!

I have a proposal for all who frequent TS. An experiment to try and take back the game, and do what is right, for the game.

    Here is what I propose:

For the next 6 months/ summer and fall seasons.

Every time you reach for the phone, Tablet, lap top or PC. Instead of pulling up TS, I would suggest going on to the Internet, and start educating yourselves.

Coaches look for new training sessions on youtube, Vimeo, Etc... So many free sessions out there. NSCAA, UEFA, private trainers, Coerver, and not just drills. Soccer/age specific SAQ training, and body resistance training. The mental side from the Bill Beswick site, or site they suggest that are similar. Get as educated and read as much as you can, and you will be a better coach.

Parents you should start looking into FAFSA and the clearing house, if you're an older players parent. Use that time and energy to get ahead of the rest. The info is out there. The younger parents should be trying to get their head around the progression, and the philosophy of US soccer and others. Research what your behavior in the car, on the ride home does. Look into how much you influence your child. Look at the research that says, these are the kids that destroy teams, and quit by 13. Figure out, with all the knowledge out there, what works best to keep your kid passionate about the game, and pretty sure it's not W&C on TS.

Players, get a skills ball and juggle till your feet fall off.

That simple! 5-6 months of educating and not complaining and ripping apart, for fun. What would that do for the game, and the kids playing it? Would the same % quit every year? I don't know, but I have a feeling it would be for the better.

Before someone asks. No! I'm not high. Just had the Jerry Maguire moment.

Maybe a natural high from last night's US victory? Want to keep that good feeling coming....

....now go back to the hole you crawled out of...just kidding. It's a noble effort.

And perhaps everyone can share the links and info they come up with.

I personally like the Online Soccer Academy You Tube videos.

Super informational, energetic and fun for kids learn/watch.
