I've been following this site off and on for more than 6 years. Never seen a single negative comment about the Boys commitment lists.

The corollary for the Boys would be the energy around the new DAP rule about HS soccer.

They don't have all day to hang out on TS and monitor every post that pops up.

Nobody said anything about criticizing anyone's choices. The points made were that no one every criticizes the posting of Boys commitment lists, and that the bulk of comments about Girls commitments come from parents and not coaches.

The reason that you do not have as much bashing going back and forth on the boys side is there is a much clearer hierarchy of leagues and clubs on that side than there is on the girls side. Simply put, the Revs are not fighting tooth and nail for talent like the top girls clubs are. If the Revs want a player all they basically have to say is "come play at the clear highest level for free" and they generally will get the player.
On the girls side the club's first have to convince the market where the league they play in fits in completely hypothetical hierarchy that has been created and then they have to convince each individual parent that the specific coach and team will meet their player's needs. It is all of this "convincing" that we all read here on TS.
There are two reasons why you don't read as much bashing of commitments on the boys side:
1) because the boys clubs are not dangling commitments out there like the girls clubs do to sell roster spots.
2) the bulk of the boys commit much later than the girls do so they are much closer to the end of their club soccer days where most parents realize it doesn't matter much any longer.

2) Is said it is mostly parents. Contrary to popular belief here, coaches and DOCs are not merely appendages of our self-absorbed fantasies, perceived insults, and ego problems. They have their own lives, and after long hours providing a service they most likely are not spending much of their free time worrying about what the imbecile parents are doing on TS.
3) The only difference between boys and girls commitments is that girls tend to occur earlier. Don't know what "dangled" means. A posted list is a posted list. Nothing more, nothing less. A Boys list has been posted here for at least a handful of years with virtually no controversry or bickering at all.
4) There is a heirarchy on the Girls side almost as clear-cut as the Boys. The Revs are "free," which is a difference, but you can't argue that the NEFC EK boys teams and Blazers (and perhaps MPS/GPS) try to present themselves as reasonable alternatives to DAP just as NEFC does with ECNL.

Here is one;
" A lot of these boys will not ever play a game for the schools they say they are committed to"
