Does anyone know why the location was moved? Is it still outdoors? This might be a silly question but I was curious - it's supposed to be really hot there today and I hope the kids hang in there OK. Tough conditions if it's really going to be in the mid-90s.

Yes, it is a silly question. All teams not from the Southwest knew the weather. If you play a tournement in the Southwest in June you expect "tough conditions". Hydrate and play on. Everyone is playing in the same conditions and yes, some might be more acclaimated. It is not hot enough to move it indoors. Your comments made me laugh.

Many areas under water in Dallas. The new site is dirt/grass-ish fields. Dusty. Very West Texas. It is what it is.

Did anyone really expect youth soccer fields in Texas in June that were NOT going to be "dirt/grass-ish"?

V loses 1-0, but I'm sure they won possession and style.

They probably lost on a blown offsides call during a bad bounce on a grass field against a physical striker who dove to draw a PK while chasing a kick and run pass.

I don't like some Valoe parents talking trash on this site. But the team is very good and I was impressed by these boys when my son's team played against them. Good luck to Valeo boys in the rest of their games.
