Valeo seems to be selling out to the hardcore plastic "nu" trophy pushers. Pursuing meaningless and distant second rate EDP competitions when a bit of politics and coordination would enable them to train smarter and become a premier facility. They apparently got only 3 good players in U11 and 3 in U12 out of the whole deal. They will be trounced in maple blue if they try it. big egos, little minds. Shortsighted at this age. Better for us they burn themselves out!

Politics and coordination will enable them to train smarter? They don't need bull to train. They don't need to kiss anyone's a** to develop players.

They apparently got more than 3 good players in each age group from the 'coordination' with NU. Most likely more than GPS or NEFC. There are only so many to go around.

Teams at the top or near the top in all the younger age groups. NEP parents are particularly envious and annoyed because they bought (literally) into all the 'Premeiship' hype. See the faces of NEP parents at NEFC tourney in a few weeks and you'll understand better.

Just go on Got Soccer and look at Valeo's results vs decent NEP teams. Mostly below average performances. I can't speak for other NEP parents but I chose the club closest to my home and it just happens to be in NEP. Not envious of your average team and didn't buy any hype.

Mostly below average performance of NEP teams. Aside from WUP and NEFC Central, and Aztecs, the NEP teams can't win games but are awarded points nonetheless. I truly hope this changes and your son's team turns out to be strong.

Agreed, NEP 'Premier' teams mostly so average. Strange and inaccurate post by confused NEP dad, Valeo hasn't lost to a NEP team in a year and a half, unless you count the combined team for VW penalties after a scoreless tie. Good they will face real competition in Maple u13 blue, stronger than even NEP u13 'Premiership'.

I missed it, who is in NEP U13 premier? There is no posted schedule so hold your criticism. Don't expect to see NEFC in u13 premier

BTW, Maple u13 blue is much stronger than your NEP u13. In other words, when your son's team gets trounced by the better u12 NEP teams, just add a year of dev and you are still way short.

The top teams from NEP-affilliated clubs will be playing in NPL, not in NEP.

Duck by playing u13 Maple blue and by spring against some of the top teams in R1 in EDP?
Sounds like WU and NEFC will not be u12 NEP, so basically the same as Maple u12. Your sons team won't be playing in the top u12 tournament brackets either. So no 'ducking' at all, just the opposite. It would be a complete waist of time as it was last time.
