Also women have been outperforming men academically for years with the exception of STEM fields. Even there the gender gap in Math SAT scores has been narrowing. Universities don't have to bend over backwards for women as they get better grades on average than men. If anything efforts are being made to help boys better succeed in school at all levels (kindergarten up).
Don't bring football or other programs into the discussion. That is a seperate issue.
In many parts of America, the educational environment for young children has been slanted towards girls. Meanwhile, our advancement of future mothers to be through higher education, and the continued drive for " equality " staus for women vs men, the children of America keep falling behind the children of other industrialized nations.
