Admirable try. Crushing night for NEFC.

Someone digging desperately through the archives now looking to re-ignite last summer's Breakers/Scorp:-)s thread. Or the demise thread from the year before and year before that.

Sorry man. Not Nefc or stars or even select will lose sleep iver this. Desperation in your camp. If last year's merger didn't help you what makes you think that totally removing scorpions name out of the brand will help you?
If anything a pro team name with games' assistance less tham 2 thousand will only drag this academy down. I do feel for Fred though. Years of hard work and....pufff. gone!

Unfortunately with FM still around this club will remain sub-par. Just like some of the teams need some house-cleaning, so does the management. FM needs to fully sell out and move on. Let LB or others take over day to day operations and maybe the club has a chance. As a long time scorpions family, I can only hope.

The official death of the boys program. It was inevitable.

The boys program has always been an afterthought. It generated revenue for the girls side. They employed marginal soccer people as boys coaches and catered to the clueless south shore crowd.

I didn't see a new and improved boys site. I didn't see any mention of the boys teams on the Breakers site. All that is left are boys teams without any appreciable talent or accomplishments.

No.. that start was not made on the website. There is a Scop. Boys team tab that does not work. So, what do you think is going on with boys teams?

Not good for NEFC. Probably saves scorpions in ECNL. The NEP NPL is as high as NEFC can go now. Could be an exodus at tryouts as the landscape is clear for the coming years

I don't see the attraction. NEFC is doing something right. If anything Scorps are losing top players. We live on the south shore and are staying away.
