Does the Stars DOC have the power to push players to the NT?

Too long of a commute to the South Shore. JD is the only show in town in Central Mass. It would be great if Scorpions can take over some of the fields in Lancaster when Stars move into their own facility so families can have options of ECNL close by.

You think JD will let these two players dictate who he employs your crazy. My understanding is JD is not unhappy with BB. His best bet is to put these two players and their families in their place. What are the alternatives for these players ,stay where they are when they've told anyone who'll listen that they're moving on? Tell them to shut up and play or you'll bury them so deep that no National team will even look in their general direction.

It will be interesting to see what exactly happens with this team in a couple weeks. JD has been asking for commitment and loyalty from this team and has actually brain washed some of them not to play high school soccer and to stick with him because he is looking out for them and wants what is best for them. If he brings these two NEFC players in along with the other 2 or 3 that he has promised spots to that have been practicing with them and playing in games with the team what will he tell the players he cuts or demotes.

I hope its not true about brain washing kids not to play high school soccer and now could be possible cuts in a few weeks.

Ding, ding, ding. We have a winner. Nice to see someone finally gets the big picture that if a player is good enough to make the national team, where they play doesn't matter at all. All that really does matter is the amount of their talent and drive. You can't fake it at the top levels and joining a club simply because someone likes to brag that they have influence is really quite stupid because of that.

I know for sure that one of them will never want to cross path with BB. And where they want their kids to be? I hope is not in the national team, because if none of them is an already "chronic" attendee of national camps, they will never be with stars.

The bigger issue is that players who thought they were on the fast track get pushed to the bench. Bench players get pushed to NPL with the promise of a potential call up which we now know never comes. Strengthens both teams. Bottom of NPL team cut again. Nature of the game.

Any parent who buys into JD's crap deserve what they get at the end. He does not have any loyalty or cares about the kids on the team no matter how long you have been with him. If your kid is not one of the core players/starters it would be wise look elsewhere. Not worth the money and travel to play half or less of a game for this jerk.

Which is why NEFC has beaten or tied Stars at every age from U17 down. I guess Stars must also have kids not fast enough. LOL!
