It would be more interesting to predict at least two teams in each group, that will make it to the semi-finals. Or am I misunderstanding "semi-finals", which is a distinct possibility.

Too bad regionals are not what they used to be. The best teams in the state winning and advancing. Now it is a jv event with no college coaches attending.

Everyone should just stay home then. MYSA, call it off! There's no point in competing if the arrogant self serving SOBs at Stars can't participate - even though they claim all year long how great their leagues are - it ALWAYS s come down to State Cup envy.

No college coaches?? Why then were there plenty of college coaches at the U17 round robin games? Maybe they didn't get your memo.

One mistake....U15G group loses in Semi's to upstart Nova. Everything else looks good. Stars beat a SS Select team by a single goal and don't look past the kids who won their bracket including the number 2 NEFC and Aztec teams. By all means throw it in my face after next weekend but there is a legitimate opportunity they'll be playing Elite in the finals on Sunday. Proudly waving the mom and pop banner.
