Wow, pretty confident you have all the answers aren't you. Fact is you don't know squat and are just hyping your petty little endeavor but hey, at least you've got a pretty website.

Agree, we tried a private trainer through Coach Up and weren't impressed.

you are right. Those websites are only another way for the coaches to offer themselves to the market. Very good coaches, with a good demand don't need this. But what choices do we have if we decide to use private coach? You can talk to your club coach, wich I wouldn't. Or you can go to one of these websites read resumes and reviews. Most of the reviews are BS. But some of them will make you stay away from certain coaches. Good help if you understand your child soccer needs. If you don't, talk to your club coach. Then talk to your candidate. See what he says and how he's going to work on it. Then if you like it, schedule and watch a couple of practices. To decide if you want any long-term commitment. This is the only way I see how you can find a good coach.

There are specialized private coaching organizations in MA?? One was mentioned earlier in this thread for example. I'm sure there are others that specialize in it if you searched/asked around.

Very well said. However, I must add that the number of QUALITY coaches out there are very low and the number of players greatly out-number them. Maybe services like this have their place and will continue to grow.
