I've read posts about the Scorpion's colapsing, how MPS is falling apart, even how NEFC is losing coaching, etc., etc. Is any of it true? Maybe some of it, but they are all decent clubs and that have good and bad about them. It's how the club bounces back that really matters. So, for all of you that love to bash FO and the Blazers, why don't you just pause for a minute to see what happens on both the boys and girls side. Yes, I am a Blazer's parent and proud to say so. This is the best training that my kids have received in all of their years of playing soccer. Say what you will about FO, but I've seen firsthand how much he cares about his players and it's not just about soccer. Everyone also talks about the fees the Blazer's charge (which from my experience isn't different from other clubs), but they fail to mention how many scholarship kids he has on every single team. There are kids playing soccer for the Blazers that would never get a chance to play on some of the other clubs simply because their families can't afford it. Is it possible for some of you to stop taking delight in the issues that all clubs face? I know the answer to that question, so for those of you that are ready to bash my comments, bash away.

The picture is of LAST YEAR's U17 team-all 21 players left, and are now with KB and DC at Scorpions. So why would they post that picture just the other day???????? hmmmmm...

The blazers are back? really....lots of PR going on to make you think so. And that has always been the problem. In fact, they never left. The people who left realized it and moved on.

NO...this is not true...they do not have a team in the U18. IF they do, the photo they are using is of the scorpions U18 team which used to be the blazers U17 team. Maybe they should take it down and put up the picture of their OWN U18 team.

He cared so much about our team that he didn't come see us play in the state cup finals or the finals of a highly ranked tournament in Arizona. Yup he cares. Tell that to the young boys who wondered why he wasnt' there to cheer them on, yet he could hang out in a bar with another team's parents while this team was winning a nationally ranked tournament!

You don't suppose there were any circumstances, unknown to the parents and players, that may have proceeded this? Things aren't always as black and white as they appear

Stop with the BS he did that to all the teams. Were there circumstances each time? He really does not care about anything other than massaging his ego.

Unless of course they are being interpreted by the FO following. It really is a fact that you can not lie to yourself. I wish I had left too!

Blazers are a joke! During halftime of The U13 Boys Star Cup final the players were made to run sprints because they were losing 3-0 to NEFC. Disgrace of an organization!

I agree with this statement. I wonder if this is what has contributed toward the recent Blazer issues. Maybe someone from the famed U17 team.

I do agree that FO runs some great training sessions and that he probably agressively recruits players and offers them scholarship and free trips to tournaments. How else would he justify charging so much money for all the paying customers?

You say that there are some that 'would never get the chance to play', if it wasn't for Okaroh. How many has he turned away from soccer? I guess these are the ones that would have never made it anyway.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

FO does provide some of the best training around. And yes he does make the players run at half. If it works and the player steps up after that, why is that so wrong? Also, every player has an option to play for whichever club they choose. If they don;t like FO's style they can always choose to leave.

I have seen him tap into players strengths and develop them quickly. Key is if they are willing to work hard, listen and fix their mistakes.

                            Absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Are you kidding? First of all, who are we to be talking about anyone boinking anyone? Are there children hiding behind these posts? Please don't forget that whatever you think about someone, they are real people and its not funny to start rumors about anyone that is married - is there nothing that people on this site will stay away from? I think the man has kids. Not cool.
Second, I've been the very lucky recipient of financial assistance by this club. No one came to me offering up cash and trips if my son played for them. And before you say anything - yes, he is very good. Went on to play Division 1 in school. We went thru a rough patch and would never have been able to afford any club soccer teams. Even though K was an asset to his team, we still had to show tax forms and fill out paperwork. They helped us and many others because we needed it, not as some kind of bribe. No one needs to be bribed to be trained by FO. Actually, we still paid what we could and drove over an hour to practice. Worth all of it.

I have seen him destroy 10 and 11 year olds as well. It is clear that if he does not think the boy is going to help his team win a championship then he has little use for the boy. Although I may be naive, if the coach takes on a kid to his/her team and the club takes the family's money, then they are obligated to train and develop that player. This means in both practice and during games......and nothing less.
