OP here. I researched this some more. I have noticed that 3 2014 players, including one MA player listed as Verbally committed to Northeastern are not rostered for this season. Additionally one of MA top 2012 players is suddenly not rostered with no apparent explanation. Also a top 2013 player transferred. A lot is going on there.

Are you going to go back and put as much effort into figuring out which of the D3 players flopped and quit as you are the D1 players or this only to show how correct you were in pushing your boy towards that end of the spectrum?

I am going to look at D3's later in the year. Given their numbers it is a much bigger job. I don't know what has happened here. To say that someone flopped is premature. For all we know the kid could be at another school. I was asked about NR and am researching it.

OP here. I am a coach, so I have lots of "boys", and my reason for these threads is for me to learn how to advise future kids. I have learned in the last week that a number of the 40-50 MA kids going D1 in the past three years are slotted as depth players, do not play much, and are cut or leave the team. You can see about half fit into that category. It is not for me to make the final determination of what the kid does but to offer advice. About a dozen or two kids do very well.

Do you have anything better to do with your time? I am curious as to why this is so important to you? You do realize that every school cannot be measured the same way, as in where they rank nationally and depth of bench. So whether or not a player starts, gets subbed in, or never plays is based on a different set of factors. I personally have no interest in your stats on any level because they mean absolutely nothing considering that you are not coaching or making the game day decisions for any of these teams.

All my threads on this topic have been viewed 330,000 times. I hope it helps many of them. Per the earlier post, as a coach I take giving advice to my players seriously. If you don't find this useful, why are you here? Go read another thread.

Umm, all but one of 2014's are rostered.

Don't you have anything better to do than to come on here and criticize how this guy spends his time? If it is of no consequence to you...why are you here? As far as I am concerned knowledge is power. The more you know the better off you are, and if the OP wants to spend his time doing this so be it. Why don't you just unbunch your panties and find something better to do!

Bit of an ego? I am here because after reading your posts I feel that I have a right to comment on them. Again, useless info because your stats are in the end meaningless if you do not take into consideration many other factors. This will be my last post. Keep counting all those views.

                      What about CS from NJ?

Further update. I notice in one of my prime commit websites that they list 9 players committed to Northeastern for the 2014 season. A spring PR from Northeastern highlights only 7 as coming. So those other two faded early in the process, or the website made an error.

Does anyone find it strange that the Rev's 3 top recruits DM, DA & CS have only appeared in 1 match between all 3 of these players?

CS from NJ got a big article 9/2013 about commtting to NU. NLI signing day, he's on to play for Penn. Kid changed his mind.

Sometimes kids change their mind, sometimes coaches change mind, sometimes kids don't get into school, sometimes the kids do not meet minimum NCAA requirements...Coaches can push for exception of acceptance requirements but that is a bullet that can be used maybe once or twice a year, easy out for coach.
