There isn't any place that interviews a coach and doesn't know something like that.

Looked at the websites yesterday. No new updates. This is the slow period. There are more commits but they aren't listed yet. By Feb/Mar there will be circa a hundred names.

I thought most D1 mens programs offer 9 - 10 scholarships. Most rosters carry 25+; 3 or 4 will be on full rides and the other 20+ scrap for the rest

The 9 or 10 is athletic scholarships. And UMASS may be able to spread the athletic scholarships farther with in state players

There are other ways to get money to players, Need based or academic merit being the most used

Yes, and American football is the culprit once again. UMass men's soccer is unable to use a full allotment of men's soccer scholarships because of the number of scholarships allocated to football.
