This is a list of the best HS Soccer players from MA this year. Looks like it excludes ISL. But it's March and I can't find a college destination for any of those players. it's a remender that many of the players on the current commitment list are not playing HS soccer any more. Either DAP or ISL. If anyone knows where these kids are going, let me know. I have to believe some are slotted.
Its a list. I wouldn't characterize it as the "best" players in the state. Just another awards list. Like other "all star" lists, most of these kids won't even play in college.

      Same list last year:

      Felix DeBona BU
      Mac Steeves PC
      Dave McKinnon Hartford
      Nate Pomeroy Brown
      Cody Savonen Trinity

      4 D1's and a D3.

Link please? These are great players. However, as I said, most won't play in college. There were 10 on the list this year. What happened to the other 5 from last year? Are they playing? Where?

          http://espn.go.com/blog/boston/high-...ston-mr-soccer

Scroll down this one a bit. Last year's list has less Mr Soccer Finalists. Key is that some DAP players got exclusions and were dominant in HS. This year not so much.

Agree that it's just a list. No info about how it was compiled. On the boys side, I would agree with 3-4 of these. And I'm sure most out there would have their own lists. They are all good players, but like the all-state list by the coaches, it has weaknesses.

OP here. The new additions are a lot of great players, but most come from Africa and are not playing in a MA school. What is their MA connection?

Right to Dream looks like an Academy in Ghana, best I can tell. Looks like some ISL schools have tapped into that to take their soccer program up a notch.

Correct. With DAP, the quality of the ISL has gone down and will continue to go down the next few years. We opted DAP over high school.
