Maybe you should stick to pontificating about frisbee, you know, something you have experience with.

Co-ed ultimate frisbee sounds perfect for you and the parents. You've actually cleared a lot up for me.
    Likewise.

Why does this thread even continue? Outdoor is done (for most) and the rest of this stuff is rubbish... futsal, flying object, yoga pants, etc.....

Talk with everyone after the brackets for NEFC Preseason are released. Let's all hope that the mega and small clubs all show up. I am hoping for more players for NU and V and that they are all placed into the "Group of Death" with NEFC (and others, of course). All DOCs should request such a grouping as they send in the $$$.

The sidelines could be a dangerous place to be......

Who said no one had ever played soccer? As you said, adult league soccer is no longer fun. I'd rather play soccer with the team in a parent v kids match. Better competition. However, Ultimate is very fun at my age, even as a co-ed game.

Yep. Do the NU nutter dads even realize that their hysterical fixation with winning is at odds with their endless propaganda about development?

Yes see the 900 previous post by NU parents. Search for NU and 'win' it's really not that hard.

Check the Newton United web site. Tell me where I find the "development" philosophy.

They recently updated the website. Now it's even more focused on winning. Here's what you find under the "SUCCESS" tab:

                    Success through hard work:

                    Stars Cup 2013
Both the U11 and U12 teams were semi-finalists

                    MPS Summer Showcase 2013
Both the U11 and U12 teams were champions of this tournament

                    Independence Cup 2013 U11
This tournament was won as one U11 team combining players from both teams

                    Needham Memorial Day tournament 2013
Playing as a combined team in U11, the team placed second after 20 minutes of overtime and penalty shoot out!

Northeast Regional Futsal Tournament Winter 2013
The U10 team won the regional championship

                    Mass Futsal Association Winter 2013
The U10 team won the league championships in both session 1 and session 2
The U11 team won the league championship in session 1 (and played in U12 session 2)

                    Maple Spring 2013 BU11
Playing as a combined team of half U10 and half U11 in the Green division, the team placed 5th.

                    August 2012, Orlando, Florida
Several of the team members played in a 3 v 3 Challenge Tour and were National Champs in the U10 Silver Division.

                    MPS Summer Showcase 2012
Playing as a combined team, they were champions in U10.

Prior to playing in Maple, Newton United played in an indoor soccer league in Newton and in various outdoor and indoor tournaments.

What a joke. I saved a picture from their site of one of their players cleating a keeper in the back. Stay classy NU. I'll find a way to post it here. I guess they aren't that worried about playing by the rules as long as they win.

Get a clue! He was coming across with his leg not into the keeper. There wasn't even any contact on that play! The picture just makes it look much closer than it was. This just shows the extent to which some people on this forum go to try to discredit a team, parents etc. To what end? Why do you care? What's your issue???? Get some professional help!

I don't know dude, you are obsessed. All clubs post their successes on their websites. I think you need to take a chill pill and stop this creepy crap. No one cares that much on this forum to take the time to do what you are doing.

No contact except for the foot inthe back. Shameful that NU would post such dangerous foul. CheapShotsRUs!

This is beyond creepy! Go to any teams website and you find the same thing so why so obsessed? To go to the point of posting pictures of kids on this forum is way over the top. We don't use names only initials on here and you think it's OK to post pictures of kids up here? What's your problem!

Indeed. Their website is simple, like the club, with just 2 teams with this on the front page:

Newton United is a small soccer club based in Newton, MA. Newton United was created to increase individual development of young players using specific training techniques and a rigorous training schedule of 3 or more practices per week. The club is directed by licensed, volunteer coaches and welcomes players from any town.

Nothing wrong here. Action shots taken by a professional photographer mean nothing. We all have them of our own kids. Get a grip, psycho.
