He explained that he cut the kid from his soccer team because he couldn't play 11v11. Once he was on the futsal court, no one could touch him.

I've met many parents involved in youth soccer and even the ones that are vocal on the sidelines are not all that bad. We can all at times go a little overboard. Is that wrong! Depends on how far I guess, but the passion surrounding our kids teams is great! I bet you would even get along with the same parents that you claim are a problem if you were on the same team. Why stifle team spirit? Parents should feel good about the team their kids play for and how they are developing. Any positive comments from ANY team gets a quick slap down on TS, WHY? Celebrate every small victory or experience for what it is. We have a small window of involvement in our kids lives so ENJOY IT and let other enjoy it as well.

Maybe you should stick to pontificating about frisbee, you know, something you have experience with.
Co-ed ultimate frisbee sounds perfect for you and the parents. You've actually cleared a lot up for me.
