Beating the crap out of weaker teams "pays off". I am sure the team will appreciate the days they play against competition that matches or is a little better than them each week. NU boys have enjoyed their season and do hope the Spring brings a solid group of teams for league play every week (and that MAPLE will help make this happen with logical groupings.) The U11 team was a bit short this Fall due to splitting the original team into 2 full teams, but we now have some new players and hope to continue to develop the boys over the winter and be competitive in the Spring.Originally posted by Unregistered View Post

The first and second place teams did not play each other, but those teams each played the same teams for the most part, right?
There is no "championship" in a U11 division where all the teams don't play each other and the schedules are not balanced. Give me a break.
Every team has a "flat" game now and then and the first and second place teams in Green (and Blue) seem to have that in common on as well. The division standings do affect placement in Spring.Comment

"For the most part" is not the same as having the same schedule. They did not even play the same number of games and they did not play the same teams. Again, anyone claiming a "championship" here is being ridiculous.Comment
