I'll leave that up to the Maples team parents. Only seen a few of the green/blue teams play.

I'd love to know who you think I am. I can tell you that you're are wrong. You are also less than informed about soccer, but quick to speak up. That's an unfortunate combination.

Hammer is a decent second tier team. They do not belong in the same conversation as WUP, NU, NEFC, etc.

A 1-1 draw with North Shore United? They have 1 win.

A loss to Strikers, and then they get pounded by FC Mass.

        They beat Weymouth 3-2.

Does any of that happen if WUP, NU or NEFC played those same 4 games? No.

There is no shame in being a middle of the table team if your kids are developing. Don't let your ego get in the way of an intelligent conversation about soccer.
Couple flaws, the last 100 pages have not been an intelligent conversation about soccer. TBut that is the funniest thing I have read on ts. Secondly my kids team beat hammer they are good but not great. I really never read about them on ts however. The fact is it is the ego's of the self proclaimed "wonder" team parents and coaches that make ts crap.

It is ego because if a team like hammer can compete with all of the "top" teams there really aren't any world beaters yet and the 100 pages have been all ego and hyperbole.

I've seen most of the teams talked about on here play and right now you would have to put NEFC and WU at top of the pyramid. We'll find out this weekend if WU is for real as they play NEFC. ( I'm not affiliated with either team just a honest observation) If they win or can hang in there with NEFC then they deserve some of the hype. Within the MAPLE world it's fair to say that Valeo and NU are at top end of their division based on everything. NU still has a couple of games that could be interesting vs. Liverpool and Ocean State. They don't play PTUSA, but they just tied Galway 2-2 who NU beat 14-1 so can't really think that would have been a good matchup. As far as Valeo is concerned, they had a bad showing vs. Hammer but still pulled out the victory so they should still be in the conversation. They do have to play Fuller Hamlets J that could give trouble based on other scores so we'll have to wait and see. Strikers or Spartans should be a problem for them. Taking a second look at NEP and you could make a case for AZTECS possibly? SEACOAST is behind them but they got beat by NU at Stars pretty easily. Still mid term rankings could go like this?

          NEFC
          WU
          VALEO
          NU
          AZTECS
          SEACOAST

Is another team someone could make a case for? This is just in good fun and based on some observations and head to head games etc. don't get to excited if you team isn't listed. It's all meaningless until they all play each other and it could (will) change quite often.

This site is ridiculous. I'm not an NEFC dad, not they need any defending! Right now unless someone beats them they are the team to beat at this group. How can that be perceived as anything but objective. My kids team isn't on that list so I can be objective!

You have to expect the "thanks dad" moronic posts on TS, goes with territory .
Seemed like a reasonable assessment to me. It does seem as there are four very good sides in MA with handful of teams not too far behind.

Let's get all the best kids together instead of spreading the talent so thinly.

I think the top 4-6 teams have done that already. Would be good if some the teams close behind were able to add 2-3 quality players from other teams to compete at a higher level and then you have a division or 2 of all quality teams to compete against each other.

NEFC also beat Albertson that beat Valeo at Stars. From most recent results they are the team to beat with WU right behind.

Improvement and consistency is the key for U11 development.

In the meantime, NU seems to be blowing out each and every team thrown at them. They seemed to have gotten their act together.
Its too bad NU got placed in the B division - doesn't provide an accurate measure.
