2013-2014 Boys U11 Top Teams (MA)

Which ones are you counting as outstanding? Just the MA teams? If you and I are considering the same teams, then they are actually the top 4 in the region, including RI and NH (all 4 are MA teams in my top 4):

NEFC Central
WUP
Valeo
NU

This is after most teams beating Seacoast (NH) and Valeo beating PTUSA (RI). The Spring and March tournies will be more informative. (again, this is just for fun, people!)

Is there anyone on here that has actually seen all 4 of these teams play? Can you count WUP if they have never played these teams? Do you add FSA because they tied WUP? again results don't always tell the whole story.

I have seen all 4 teams play. Pretty good teams. My kids team beat one lost to two in close games and lost to the 4th playing for someone else's team in a scrimmage. Not worth 3 pages of discussion let alone 100. Also no one hates competition just the chest thumping/excuses when these teams lose .

For U11 and U12 at this time in the season, the Gotsoccer rankings are worthless and won't begin to have any pseudo real meaning for another year or two.

Let's be clear: the GotSoccer rankings have no "real meaning" ever. These absurd calculations continue to create bizarre listings all the way through the older ages too. And with NEP now awarding GotSoccer points (for coming in as low as 5th in an admittedly weak division), the point system is completely worthless. The only way to compare teams is in actual competition--league games, tournaments, state cups, etc.

I have seen all 4 teams play. Pretty good teams. My kids team beat one lost to two in close games and lost to the 4th playing for someone else's team in a scrimmage. Not worth 3 pages of discussion let alone 100. Also no one hates competition just the chest thumping/excuses when these teams lose .

It's called Fantasy u11 Angry Dad FC. It doesn't exist. WU and NEFC haven't lost in NEP or tournaments, NU lost to NEFC, Valeo to Albertson Porto. That's it. I love it when a jerk comes on TS and offers ethic lessons about "chest thumping" and then fabricates a winning story so he can feel better about all the cash he shelled out. Note to fantasy dad: it's ok your son lost, HE got over it the same day!

Clearly you are wayyy to invested in this. What I typed is accurate and all took place in the last 12 months. But your post does highlight why I would not want a team any of my kids play for on TS. This will all shake itself out in the next 7 years and what is posted on page 100 of greatest 10 year old soccer teams won't mean &@&). It's cheat thumping because I stated simple true facts and your insecurity about your claims of u11 greatness made you fly off the handle .

On the plus side your post does highlight what TS is all about.

Anyway, regarding the WUP above, Valeo beat PTUSA, who beat Explosion in MAPLE 3-1. Valeo plays Hammer this Sunday. NU plays Explosion in a few weeks. Expect blow outs for both.

No you are WAY over invested. Your son's MPS bulldog team lost by a wide margin to each.

Hammer and Strikers will challenge Valeo. NU doesn't even play Coastal, the only team that might have challenged them in green.

Yes, that is unfortunate that NU does not play PTUSA (for us here-haha), but Strikers lost to Boston United. Hammer will not be a challenge at all for Valeo (not a Valeo parent and have seen Hammer play).

Well WU travels all over Region 1 to win easily and then ties FSA and beats Hammer by 1.

Yes only MPS has played all four. Why would someone write about close games that weren't? So strange.
