There are some very good teams at both age groups that we don't get to play but would like to. He's also said we would play our U11's vs U12's on Sundays as well for additional training after the season. I believe the coaches realize they need to find good competition for the kids to play in order to keep them challenged. There are still more games to be played in the green division as well. Liverpool, Ocean State, and PTUSA seem be getting some good results as well. Unfortunately we don't get to play PTUSA though.
Didn't one of you crazy NU moms just say playing U12's isn't good because the kids will get hurt?

Why? Valeo will be stuck in Maple by themselves and have they same competition issues.

NEP has the same dilution of talent issues. 7 or 8 top quality teams in Maple and NEP combined. Real competition will be in tournaments. That's the reality.

Yes and good for NU. Hurts to be cut from a town team.

We're not planning on playing against U12's other than our own team who we train with regularly. Much different playing internally within your own club. Coaches can move older kids on the younger team or mix the kids if necessary.

NU U12's not a problem. Highly skilled and no need for pushing and checking.

                  Blow out central!!!

                  MAPLE

U11 Blue: 33% of the games

                  -----------------------------------
I'm using 6 goals and greater as a benchmark, but these were close
                  Liverpool 7 - 2 Explosion FC S
                  NEFC L 5 - 0 Fuller Ham

                  -----------------------------------
Synergy 5 - 0 Real Boston was close to a blow out
P.S. Stars of MA lost 2-3 so their move from Blue to Purple was a good one.

                  U11 Red: 0%

2 game scores are still missing, but no others were blow outs at all

U11 White: 40% of the games

                  Abbey Villa 9 - 0 PTUSA FC D
                  Galway E 7 - 0 Select FC
                  ----------------------------------
                  One game not reported yet

So 33% of the total reported games in MAPLE were blow outs by 6 or more goals this week.

There were 12 clean sheets. The goal differential added up to 73 - 0.

For the entire Division it was 159 - 32 when you look at winner v. losers.

                  This is pretty broken.

                        One goal or less?

NEP had 8 games end in either a draw or a 1 goal decision. That's 40% of the games for Week #4.

MAPLE had 9 games end in either a draw or a 1 goal decision. That's 30% of the games for Week #4.

NEFC Central coach must be terrible. How can he put his team in a league with so little competition?

That quote didn't come from an NU dad. We are happy the kids that went to Valeo are doing well.
