Watch out for Seacoast. They gave NEFC U11 a great game as reflected by the 0-0 first half score. More possession by NEFC during the game but Seacoast was up to the task and more than held there own. Good keeping by the goalie save at least one or two goals in the first half.
They are well coached, physical, and fast. They had some difficultly finishing in the final 1/3 which resulted in the score sheet. Keep an eye out for them!

It's hard to take any comment made here seriously when you keep confusing 2 teams. Like most clubs NU has 2 teams this year. Yes, the U11 team from last year which is the U12 team from this year did lose 3 games in MAPLE Green division last year. If you have followed the conversations closely you should also have know that exactly half the team was playing up and frankly were having a hard time dealing with the size and speed of kids on the better teams in MAPLE. Technical ability with the younger group wasn't the issue. Therefore the decision was made to create a second "younger" team so those players could play more of a control and possession game rather have to just chase older boys around the field and get bumped off the ball easily. Nothing to do with wins or loses just the right thing to do for those younger players development. The reason to play them up was made years ago when size was not an issue. Now it is and they've made adjustments. Isn't that what everyone on this forum keeps talking about! What's best for the individual players development. Depending on how some of the kids develop I'm sure our coaches will decide to move some kids back up to challenge them further. Individual teams records don't mean much in the same season anyway, never mind from year to year. Our team has 50% new players at both age groups and I'm guessing most clubs or teams are the same.

Just a ridiculous "analysis" from the NU obsessed parents. Loonies.
Wait a few years until the team and players have accomplished something before you get too far over your skis.
Seriously, as long as you are comfortable with your son's development path, no need to worry about anyone else. I can say without a doubr my son's path is as secure as he works hard. Can you?

The BIG boys take over at U13 and if they have your genes and don't grow they will be eatin up and spit out. American style of soccer is all about size/speed with minor skill required. Prepare yourself for the "B" team..............
