The season is too young to know what the team will do. There are two new additions (and three that did not return) from last seasons team. I am sure the boys will be challenged and continue to develop during the season. -

Scorpions Report...
The Scorpions are going to have to take a look in the mirror...they are not living up to their pre-season hype. Still winless after 6 games, it's no longer possible to claim it's due to a tough schedule. So, the team has to be pulled off the top rankings on this thread now...and they'll have the rest of the season to prove they belong.
In truth, today's 1-2 loss to the Greater Boston Bolts was another game where the Scorpions could certainly have won. They dominated possession early in the game and just couldn't finish near goal. Give the Bolts credit, they withstood the barrage and then had some nice momentum swings of their own. Some pressure at the end from the Scorpions threatened to make this a tie game...but it wasn't meant to be.
At this point, NEFC Central and Western U stand out as the clear top two MA teams in NEP...for the remainder...it's any given Sunday, and for now, the Scorpions are below average in that group.Comment
