Nice to finally hear the Explosion version of this game. You are doing a great job as parents, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Question: given that your kids can't play soccer will you do the whacko parent routine in div 3 in the spring after your tough boys get relegated?

I truly hope you are a Newton housewife and not a man. My kid doesn't play for Explosion but my son's team will play D1 this Spring. I'll be looking for the wife who wears the pants in the family on the sideline when we play you. By the way, calling someone a d#&k is unbecoming.

I laid the pipe to a NU Mom at halftime on Sunday in the sanican.

NU can handle physical teams just fine. It was just particularly a bad experience with Explosion parents making calls and the **ref listening** the entire game (with the ref taking a goal away from our team, calling a hand ball (on a kid who was shoved down by them) after the ball connected with his shoulder on the ground, etc etc --these 2 calls affected the score directly).

It was disheartening to have our boys play in a game like that, but moving on....NU won, they lost. Next time, our boys will be ready for teams like that.

Even when NU wins, it whines. Is being gracious beyond you guys?

In my experience, there is not enough fouls being called at U11 and below. Maybe because the kids do not know how to draw attention to it. Either way, I think the younger kids would be better served with tighter foul calls. It forces better skills.

If Blue and Green are supposed to be similar and neither better than the other I hope they go geographically based on the teams currently in the mix there now plus a few other strong performers in other divisions.

Yes I agree. Having the refs TELL the kids NO would certainly help them develop the SKILLS they need to play better soccer. And the ref needs to be CONSISTENT throughout the game and for BOTH teams playing.

If Blue and Green are equal than Valeo and NU need to be separated. Maybe this year they will make one top division (Blue). Or take more teams from Blue (top 5) and fewer from Green (top 2) for Andre Cup?

Why would you split them?
